Pilar Morales founder of\u00a0 B.e Quality<\/p><\/div>\n

Pilar is a Textile Engineer, today with a background of more than 20 years of experience on luxury & mass market european conventional fashion brands.<\/p>\n

She held positions in Quality Control and Production Management, working with suppliers based in Asia, Eastern Europe and North Africa. As she saw firsthand, in many of these countries their labour laws are very different from European standards, and factories not always even complied with them. Still on 2020!!<\/p>\n

She has seen difficult working & living conditions in some factories. And when lowering costs became the defining goal, she decided to leave the industry as it felt tantamount to aiding and favouring human exploitation and pollution.<\/p>\n

B.e Quality is how she wants to work, with Respect, towards workers, the environment and the clients.<\/p>\n

Part of our mission is to create higher awareness on fashion through our daily work. For this reason we are creating some material, including videos<\/a> & blog posts<\/a> with information that can be helpful for you to make better choices.<\/p>\n

We live in changing times within a fashion industry that creates obsolescence, some of which is built on questionable ethics. It is time for a new set of values.<\/p>\n

B.e Quality<\/strong> takes a position in creating a Responsible Slowfashion<\/strong> brand, transcending over fashion trends. The choice of our suppliers is strictly\u00a0 based on the Social Responsibility and Eco Friendly parameters.<\/p>\n

Moreover, our products are much more resistant than traditional cotton garments to wash and wear. So last in time longer, as the Slowfashion philosophy promotes.\u00a0 For this reason B.e Quality is your best Slowfashion partner for a Sustainable Lifestyle.<\/p>\n

Above all, to raise your awareness is the first step in change. We alone will not save the earth, but we ALL can be part of it: Be the Change You Want to See.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Quality you Feel<\/strong><\/h4>\n

We use exclusively the Peruvian Pima Cotton<\/a>, better known as the Cashmere of Cottons. For this reason, our garments have an extraordinary softness that you may feel on your skin.<\/p>\n

Moreover, manufacturing pays the highest attention, applying tailoring techniques that make them refined pieces you can wear in any occasion: casual and elegant.<\/p>\n

Ecologic<\/strong><\/h4>\n

We use only organic certified cotton <\/strong>in all our products. As a consequence, all our fabrics are hypoallergenic<\/strong> and contain non toxic <\/strong>and biodegradable <\/strong>components.<\/p>\n

These choices create the least amount of impact on our planet and on our skin too. Therefore, reduces pollution of the waters and of the land from discarded non biodegradable chemicals and garments.<\/p>\n

Even more, today all our hang tags, shipping packaging and gift boxes use only recycled and FSC certified paper. And when possible, we use them more than one time, to reduce wastage,<\/p>\n

Ethical – Social Responsibility

We choose to work with peruvian small companies with Social Responsibility certification. This means fair wages, a safe and comfortable working environment, non child labour, etc. We believe in sustaining a positive working relationship where people contribute their talents to the creation of B.e Quality products. As a result, we obtain a collaboration in which supplier & client are partners, working together with the same objectives in a constructive relationship win-win! And this is how we want to continue growing.<\/p>\n

Above all, our designs do not have the pressure of time. And you can wear them with pride much longer than traditional fashion dictates. Consequently, reducing the wastage of garments and taking from the planet only<\/strong> the resources we really need. Remember each extra season you use a garment, you are reducing its carbon and water footprint of at least 20%.<\/p>\n
